Just trying to get a feel of the player base atm. How many of you like to Roleplay in game or otherwise? That's it basically, oh and whilst your at it, post whatever strange and mysterious Roleplaying characteristics you have. Is your character a loyal soldier bound by the law? A ruthless merchant with a shiv for his competition or a Vista just trying to make a farm?

And if you do like Roleplaying or are new to it, drop by the Last Haven section of the forums and have a look around to get a feel of it.

I don't mind playing along if someone else is roleplaying, but I mostly don't roleplay in an MMO. Mostly because they are just not setup to be that way.

I enjoy rping. After all, it is a role playing game. I try to do it often, but usually only end up rping if other people are joining in. Otherwise you become that annoying guy. :P

most of the time, i'm in character - that way stuff makes more sense ingame. what i'm playing ? look at the sig. a traveller, ash, who has the honor to lead the weirdest bunch of folks near hoover dam...

My RP is sporadic at best. I tend to RP more around RPers, but even alone sometimes the mood take me and i'll do things like kneel at Grom's monument, ect. I also had a tendecy to talk to my pet, when i was on my hunter. But thats just cause i'm weird.

LOL I am right there with you. My macros tend to say a comand to my pet and then send it to attack.

I am a big RP nut. I play table top at least once every two weeks, but in MMOs it's nuts. I'm constantly asked about my WoW character Thricecalled's name. I do his spiel and it's like I'm talking Greek and this is on a RP server. I want to RP on MMOs (I so miss my MOOs), but I tend to lay off in instances or if no one else is.

I love to roleplay. Even in MMOs, I try to make a name for myself. Characteristics that I always use; I am always as much of a good guy as possible. In Fallout 3, no matter what the cost, I'll do what's right. Also, I like to be a basic melee unit or tank. No magic spelly things or bows and arrows. I always have either a sword and shield or an assault rifle and frag grenade. I don't like to work with others either. I don't know why, I just don't trust them enough to let anyonje cover my back, as I fear that they will let a giant scorpion or bulking mutant rip my face off while they run away to get a rocket launcher. And that's another thing. It's always a rocket launcher. What about the good ol' boys. The assault rifle, the handgun, the combat shotgun, and who could possibly forget everyone's favorite melee weapon, the trusty chainsaw(or the handheld Ripper chainsaw in Fallout 3. Much fun to cut up enemies after sneaking up behind them unnoticed). I hate those huge, slow weapons that waste ammo or take to much time to load, i.e. the Rocket Launcher, the Minigun, or massive battle hammers. I think that I've used up more than my fair share of space, so I'm going to shut up now.
