A few threads have recently popped up with topics of scamming and hi-levels killing newbies.
As a single server, reputation is very important. The ATLAS recognizes this and supports a player reputation system.
The ATLAS believes that players should be recognized for both the positive that they do and the negatives.
But let's face it, the negatives will likely far outweigh the positives, at least in the public domain.
The ATLAS will support community players and events but our big question is:

Should the ATLAS publicaly name and shame those who are deemed to be cheaters, exploiters, scammers, spammers and poor sports?

The ATLAS will never adjudicate guilt but merely present the evidence. We expect forum users to make up their own minds based upon that evidence.
We'd appreciate hearing your comments and concerns about this idea. Currently there is a poll
HERE about it so if you want to vote you can.
This is your chance to tell the ATLAS exactly what you want. Please comment below or on the ATLAS about how you feel.

Wow, i didn't expect all these responses.
It was an idea and it's one I liked as it does provide a service but even I had hesitations about it as it did not mesh well with the rest of the site. As mentioned, it was about denigrating rather than enhancing the game. I knew it was tabloid journalism and that was one of the reasons I posted here is to get feedback exactly like this.
Many of the comments here offered great insight and as to the reasons why this is a bad idea. I took no personal offense at any comments.
The ATLAS won't be implementing this and I personally thank all for their comments.
I do plan to post known scams and cautions on greifing things like the sunshine meds but will leave the names out.
On that note, I give myself the Golden Bonehead Award for bad idea of the week.
The ATLAS has been about improving and enhancing the game and hopefully the community and I believe that several posters hit that nail right on the head and that's the direction we will continue on to improving the site... helping build the community rather than tearing it down.
Many thanks,
Large Marge
