Announcing The Decon Test Shard

In search of adventurous players looking for the opportunity to do major bug testing on our Public Test shard, this is an opportunity to be involved with testing, reporting and helping with finding new bugs before a live patch is released.

The Decon team will be the group on this test server, they are our elite bug hunting team. You can message them on the shard while you are there helping to test, they also will be there helping with the testing. Please remember the goal of the Decon Test Shard is to find and report bugs. For regular gameplay socialization and interaction please join our live game server.

This is a temporary shard, open only for specific periods of time for intense testing to be done.
Note: The Decon Test Shard is a shard that is strictly for testing. It can and may be subjected to long unexpected downtimes and character wipes. No player should consider their character on the Decon Test Shard as their main character.

The Decon Test Shard will also offer no support services.

FAQ’s

Do I need to make a new character on this shard?

All characters will be copied from the Alec Masters server to the Decon Test Shard you can choose to test with your current character or you can make new characters on this shard, test as many missions as possible and expect to be wiped.

If I use my character from the Alec Masters server and gain levels on the Decon Test Shard will the levels show on the Alec Masters server?

No, all levels gained on the Public Test server will be on that server only and will be wiped when the testing period is finished.

What if I don’t want to test, but just want to play and level up on this temporary shard?

This shard is strictly for testing purposes only. For regular game play please join the live game server.

Will the bugs be the same on this shard as the live server?

No, this shard has many more bugs and reporting them is the purpose of opening this shard for a period of time.


What will I have to do when I find a bug?



Please report ALL bugs you encounter during testing via the /bug command. Please follow these steps when reporting bugs:

• Your character name and level
• Mission name
• Was this mission part of a chain?
• NPC name
• Bug type (example mission, mob movement, missing items, terrain issue)
• Location (do /loc)
• Repeatable bug?
• Steps to recreate

Should I be looking for a certain kind of bug?

The Fallen Earth Team will notify you of specific issues or content you should be testing. You should be looking for and reporting any and all bugs you find.

How do I access the Decon Test Shard Forums?

The Decon Test Shard forums are only available to subscribers. Please follow these steps to link your forum account to your game account:

1. Navigate to www.fallenearth.com
2. At the top right click on login/register
3. Login with your game account information
4. Next click on the tab named Forums
5. Click on the Link an existing account
6. Enter in the forum account name and password

After you complete those steps your forum account will be linked to your game account.
