Single digit FPS on Quad Core 4GB RAM 9800GTX

OK...I'm running OS X on a 2.8gHz Quad Core with 4GB of RAM and a 9800 GTX.

I'm getting about 8 FPS in Oilville with settings on medium/low and shadows, aniso and AA all off.

Traces show about 90ms of latency at lasthop.

What gives?!

Make sure all your drivers are up to date. If that doesn't work, contact support@fallenearth.com. If that doesnt work, get a PC.

Driver updates don't really work like that on OS X.

I have other computers.

Thanks for the snark though.

I'll continue to await a response from someone with a clue. (Preferably someone from Icarus? Or who at least knows a little something about what the WINE wrapper is doing?)
