Used to play Neocron at its release it was the most fun in an MMORPG i've had.

I noted they finally got paypal out the door - oops, no they didn't - they just announced it again! It's apparently coming in 1 week tho - but then KK always were on a completely different timestream to the rest of the universe, so they could mean anything up to 10 years =P

I used to play Neocron (Forum name of Judge); from release to Neocron 2 pretty much. Neocron 2 was just the last straw.

So anyway, yes I'm looking forward to Fallen Earth it certainly looks good although obviously a bit of a different style of gameplay.

Edited: Posters are comming up to 1000 soon, and its only been a month. Althought I have noticed some people do have something constructive to say, there are probably a few people out there, who would just post nonsense or a few words barely making a sentence in many of their posts. A way lot more people will come and do that later on especially. Always good to remove ranks to discourage this from happening.

Anyway back on topic, I just started playing Neocron this past week and am really enjoying it. Just finding it weird why the only gun I'm using is a grenade launcher and I'm supposively a GenTank Soldier. Can't wait to get those Plasma guns!

By the way forums have been out for less then a month and someone already has over 900 posts. Thats just rediculous in my opinion. Hehe sorry, just wanted to share something that some people would probably agree with. Shouldn't mean anything good to have 900 posts within less then a month.

I've never claimed to have a better opinion than anyone else. Considering on what you call spam I've actually done very little. The fact that I'm amongst the people who have waited the longest for this game means that I could simply be excited about it. Perhaps I want to discuss the game a great deal? There's nowhere else that's as active to do it.

I've never said my post count is good. I've never disregarded anyone elses comments based on their postcounts - much like I am with you. How dare you come here and have an outrageous dig at me when you haven't done any research into my posts? I would post exactly the same amount if there wasn't a post count. Sorry mate, didn't mean to offend you. I may have sounded harsh, to be honest. Just too used to the problem of spam users I guess. Now you'll see how bad it gets on these forums as with most other game forums.

Anyway, didn't say any names to avoid anyone being offended, though I do believe I sounded harsh. Still I am sorry, and find it quite suprising that someone is able to post more then 30 posts a day on average within a single forum.

Anyway, no I didn't read every single post you've ever posted, but I've seen a few and yes they were constructive most of the time.

But if you posted your opinion more often, even if just to agree with something that's already been mentioned, people'd get to know you better, and might not explode because you put your foot in your mouth ;)

Well... just how I see it, really... Often as not, when someone manages to make someone else angry, it is because English is second language for a lot of people around here... I think... is the case for me, anyways *smiles wryly*

the nade launcher is fun the first char i created was a gentank it annoyed me because i couldnt use teh nade launcher straight away didnt take long before i was blowing myself away i rerolled coz i got bored and went with a pe the rerolled again to a spy which was a resser but now his a woc pistol (love the xbow) spy, didnt like the idea of monks at first but rolled one anyway and they are fun i use my monk alot more than my spy now i am starting to miss teh ole neocrack :( ive been playing other games to keep my mind off teh crack :p

Edit : oh and the post count thing i would love for ppl on my forums to post like a mofo to get there rank up ppl then may join into discussions :p

I did post my opinion about it, and I think you are referring to the wrong post... I said that in my opinion it is rediculous to have 900 posts and that it didn't mean anything good. That offended Mook because I mentioned the account with the highest number of posts.

Yeah, but still it doesn't count as 1/4 since it was 1/1 when I posted it. 1/4 after I made several other posts. And it will become 1/6 now then 1/7, then 1/8, then 1/9 and continue.

Since the number is continously increasing, a quater sounds inaccurate.

I tried to play the free trial, but the Click2Pay thieves tried to make an unauthorised charge on my card, which my bank stopped so I never got in.

Was amusing dealing with them though. I sent them and the Neocron 2 people bank records and everything and they just kept denying it. Game looked good but after hearing about other player's problems with Click2Pay I just moved on.

Then six months later out of nowhere they sent me another email strenuously denying it. At least I got a few laughs out of the experience :)

Well Neocron 2 is finally releasing a different method. It seems Click2Play is such a screwed up method of paying, that now they are including PayPal.

Maybe you could give it a try, but just so you know, you have to pay an initial fee for the game and after the trial, the account (if paid) will give you a full months worth of gameplay minus the 10 days from the trial. A bit weird, but oh well.

I still have to fight off urges to try playing Neocron again. Especially with the new game balancing being tested out (or is it in retail yet? I'm not sure). My trigger finger is itchy... fond memories of ripping Monks apart with my Low Tech Libby PE.

Yeah its still in the public-test servers. Its known as Neocron 2.2 that version being tested. Wish they could work the bugs out of the vehicles though. They are annoying.

this seems to be the place to ask a question about neocron. I tried creating an account using paypal and had issues completing the transaction. It literally just aborted the transaction at the point where you login to paypal.
Anyway as a result I cant get the free ten day trial and have contacted both paypal support and neocron support multiple times about the problem. Both seem to think it is on the other guys side and neither is fixing it. Neocron says I just need to keep bugging paypal and eventually someone will resolve the issue for me and I will get my account created while paypal says there is no way for them to fix it at their end and it is up to neocron to contact paypal tech support in order to get whatever is broken on neocrons end fixed.
Okay so after having said all that I would like to know if anyone else in the USA(because apparently the problem is limited to the US) is or has experienced a similar problem. if you were and did somehow get it fixed how?
