Right my scheming and planning has come to fruition and now I have come up with an idea for a ingame clan that should hopefully take off.
It'll be a primarily Tech/Enforcer based group styled after the Brotherhood of Steel from the Fallout series. It would be a group dedicated to the requisition of and control of access to scientific knowledge and technology. They'd also have a policy of constant progress in terms of scientific discovery and of utilising that knowledge for the greater good of the human race, once all the more violent and progress opposed groups have been removed of course.
My long term hopes for the group is that they become a major commercial producer of things like weapons and vehicles as well as providing a "military" presence in areas where it is needed.
The group would follow a hierarchical structure of course with promotion within the group being based on a number of factors such as: ability and "dead mans boots" (so when theres an opening above your rank you get promoted to prevent a top heavy structure). If you joined you would start at the bottom of course.
And naturally this would be a roleplay group
